"I got a letter in the mail today..."

So lately, I have been thinking of old bands I've been in. One band that sticks out was a short lived band out of Eloy, AZ. Edgar, Anthony, and I were just another ska and punk band, but something about this band meant a lot to me. It really felt like it was going somewhere. We recorded a few songs out of a million of them. Plus, we a sick ass Choking Victim song, as well as a local song by Elron. Well, not really a cover, but a trade of songs. We traded a song called "Fat Mom" for some song that was a cool short and fast song, and we changed it to a slow ska song at the beginning and then build up from there. Fun fun fun times.

Well, from what I heard from Edgar, They are doing a show at the Ave. Oh how I wish I can be there. Cultura, Elron, and some other bands. All for the day of Feb. 11th. Aka, 2/11. Everyone is going to get fucked up on 211. Which is still gross to me. Plus, it has fish oil in it, so I ca't have it. Oh well.

Once I start a band, I like to do some covers of Illegal Citizen songs. The combo kit: Fat Mom, Don't Call Me..., and Bloodshot Eyes.

Hopefully I can do these songs sooner than later with a band. Hopefully...

Negative Feedback! Tucson Hardcore! Fuck Yeah! When the drummer clicks in that song at 3:07.... it has to be the fastest intro drumming I have ever saw. I wish I can make a band like this. Singer Griffin is a chill guy. Hung out with him at a backyard in Tucson. But more about that story later.

Off to work. >_>

Snazzy (Fucking) Napper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the most ridiculous product I have ever heard and seen...

I want one!!!!!!!

Anywho..... I'm here still doing nothing and I feel like I'm going crazy. Yet, I got sometime to get out there and do something about it. And so, I bought myself a board and I started to skate again. I find it very easy now to go from town to town. It's pretty sweet to skate in HB, not going to lie. I also been trying to do something for my P.C.P. family and AZ scene. But I found myself to do anything. I come up with an cool idea at the time, yet more than half way into it, I review it and give up. And I want to help out the ska scene here that's just die by the day. I miss ska. Last ska show I when too was the return of NAC. Which is cool and all, but we need more, I say!

Then ideas of going back to drums and finding a band, but something about drums. I just don't like them. And yet, I'm labeled a drummer, and it's something I like to get away from. Everyone play everything else and no drummer. So, I throw that idea away and think of starting a zine for the P.C.P. scene and expose the city of it's stupid laws on "local" music and act. But only a good idea for a while.

I missing a lot in my music life. A band, ska, dancing, Elron, The Braskies, Recovering Creeps, Cultura Liberataria, Taala Hooghan, Dry River shows at the Ave in Eloy, Martin, Joey the Boss, Tianna, Pookie, Bob, Hoodride, C.C.C., and others.

Back to the half drawn drawing board.

Recap from the past month.

Nine months ago, my sister has had a bun in the oven and on Jan. 6th, 2011, my nephew is born. Feel bad thou. I have gave calls to home and no one will answer. But then I think of it as them getting situated and my sister Veronica and my bro-in-law Martin needs their rest. Plus my mum is working a lot as well. So, it's kind of hard to get ahold. Hopefully everything is all good. :) I love you guys. All of you. <3

(Insert Picture Here)
Sent the picture from my phone to my email, but I have no I idea to apply it to my blog. It's not letting me save it. Pics coming soon!

My new years was pretty cool. Hanged out with members of Not A Chance and P.S.A. and others good friends of theirs and ours. I was on AZ time and was ahead of everyone since AZ had their own time zone. Haha. I danced, sang, and drank my night away, with everyone. Great night I should say, but didn't go overboard with it. Work the next morning. Which was the slowest day of the year(National Hangover Day).

Been working more or less, and haven't been keeping up. I been online and out there exposing myself to find a new job. So far nothing. And with that said, I'm hard to keep up with here. I love to do this. Just don't have the time to do so. Yet, I'm not giving up. More will on it's way.

Peace.

P.S. Again... Missing AZ Hardcore. But in this case, Flagstaff hardcore punk and ska. Sounds a bit crusty, but the band doesn't really like to be labeled so.

Back In AZ(Dec 2nd-5th) YAY!

Well, it's been about six months since I've been back in AZ and I'm glad that I'm going back to a place I use to call "Home". Well, I take that back. It is my home. Will always be my home. I'm still trying to find my click here in O.C., but I'm almost at my goal on finding it. Which is in the works. Works as in... Making a Difference. I originally wanted to be in a band, but finding one here is hard. It's even harder trying to build one from the ground up. However, I like to say that I'm still trying to find a drummer for the beginning for the band. DJ, John, and myself are still in the looking for one. Oh how we like to start a PowerViolence band.

Got a bit off subject. Well, I'm going to my first home in Eloy. It's going to be great. I get to catch up with all my friends and family. My sister is getting big. She is big, ok? I said it. Haha... My lil sister is still in school. My mom is still doing her thing with work and stuff. They told me that they were in Tucson for Thanksgiving this year. Which is something difference. Every year we go to my Grandparents house to eat a dinner. The past two years, I have spend it with my Mar Mar. Feel kind of bad. First off, should I be celebrating this holiday? The holiday is about genocide, but that was thousands upon thousands of years ago. Is it like I can change it just back to my native people in the US. Plus, now of days, things have clear up. I, myself just can't think of hating what has happen back then. I'm not a hateful person. And why do we only have to be thankful on one day. Honestly, everyday is thanksgiving. I try too be everyday. Especially ever since I moved here. I'm away from family and whatnots. It's been hard that I can't see them like I use to.

It's been lonely, and I've been getting thru it. But eh... work has been dragging me down. I'm working 40 hours, but I'm not full time. I really need a new job. I apply online at all these jobs, but nothing. Whatever happen to going in and making the first impression to the boss? Makes easier paper work on them, but who are they really hiring? However, do the boss(es) really want to see who they are hiring and pay attention to the resume and facts? I don't know, but please just hire me!!!

Well, two more days till Mar Mar and I take off to AZ in my hometown of Eloy. Ahhhh... I can't wait. I can't wait to visit everybody. hopefully I can. I'm up with Mar Mar now. She's sick and helping her get thru this. She says it make her feel better when I'm here close to her. I don't believe her, but what ever that has to be done to make her feel good. I want to make her feel better. So scratch what I said, I do believe. Haha. Hope she feels better sooner than later. I might buy her a Starbucks tomorrow, if she does feel good.

Tomorrow, I release what I'm going to call, Project: O.C. Slackness. This has to work... or else.

-Eric
P.S. I forgot how good, and how much I miss Thrice. I miss these songs. Great shit man!
